We carved some pumpkins today, in the spirit of fall festivities. Rachel's lab mate Celine is from the Philippines--and had never carved pumpkin before! Here's how it all turned out.
Tango's waiting patiently in the background. Little did we know, she has a taste for pumpkin. All of the chunks that the ladies cut out of their jack-o-laterns mysteriously disappeared...
Now we just have to wait until dark!
We didn't have any candles, so Rachel made some out of Q-tips and Ethanol.
Not bad for a first time! Celine's turned out great!

And I carved out a Check Engine light!
Fun evening. And while this may seem like the highlight of the evening, let's not forget that all of the participants dined on NY strip steaks, grilled asparagus and green beans, and rosemary red potatoes!
