Rachel took her Basic Motorcycle Riding course this weekend. Little did we know, she was a natural. Hugged the corners, rode the rear of the weaker students in her class, and aced the final riding test. Both on the smaller bike the give you for the course, and the larger bike that we own. Way to go Rachel!

Looks like a natural. Lined up, waiting for the go command to complete the stage at hand.

Meeting of the minds to discuss the next course that has been set up.

Sorta looks like the Apollo 13 crew headed out.

Rachel acing her tight figure-8 pattern, and moving on to the obstacle swerve. Aced it all.

Coursework includes (outside of the basic operation of the bike) such things as weaving, taking turns in the road properly, stopping quickly, swerving around an obstacle, and maneuvering through a tight figure-8 pattern. (I did not pass this portion of the test, although Rachel did incredibly well.)

Start your engines!

Staged, waiting for the next exercise.

"Why are you taking so long out there?", she asks.

Quick braking exercise.

Way to go Rachel! Completed the course work and is on the way to adding the motorcycle endorsement to her license.
Thanks for looking, further bulletins as events warrant. :)
