MotoGP Weekend!

My lady and I, along with two of our Ducati riding friends from Utah, made the trek down to Austin, TX last weekend to watch the MotoGP racing circuit as it passed through America. A great time was had by all, mixed weather conditions included, and we're looking forward to more track days soon!

Downtown Austin.

First day at the races! We're in the Ducati Village which caters to the Ducati owners.

If you ride a Ducati, you can park your ride right here onsite instead of the public parking, which requires a lengthy hike or a shuttle ride to the facility.

Panoramic view of the Ducati area.

View from behind, looking up at the 20-story observation platform.

Thomas, sitting on a bike that's much too tiny for him.

Race day! Clouds overhead stay out of the way for most of the day.

Time for the MotoGP racers! This is the main even of the weekend, and was the last race that we watched on Sunday. Crazy fast and crazy loud.

They're off!

I'm still waiting to hear from the other guys about additional pictures. Maybe I can find one of me and Rachel. :)
